Waunakee is located near Interstate 94/39, along USH 19 and USH 113, and is just 12 miles from downtown Madison. USH 19 provides access to Interstate 94/39 and USH 113 provides access to the northeast side of Madison. CTH Q provides access to the City of Middleton and the west side of Madison. The primary market area and the Village of Waunakee have both outpaced the Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area and the State of Wisconsin in population, employment, and income growth. In addition, the primary market area and the Village of Waunakee each exceed the growth rate of housing units when compared with Dane County and the State of Wisconsin.
